Jase Schwartz

Math Teacher/6th Grade Community Advocate

Jase finds joy in bringing creativity and fun to math class.  You might even catch him dancing to the order of operations.   While he can get really excited about math, his true passion is creating safer spaces for young people to learn and grow.  Jase is the advisor for the Middle School Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA).  The GSA is open to all middle school students who want to contribute to Young Writers being a welcoming and inclusive school.  Outside of school, Jase enjoys reading, watching movies, and being in nature.  This past summer he had the opportunity to sleep under the stars for a week in the Northwest.
